Responsibilities

• Analyze performance, reliability and scalability of large-scale Knowledge and Content Management systems.
• Evaluate end-to-end systems to isolate performance bottlenecks, and recommend improvements and optimizations.
• Assess and recommend hardware sizing to meet varying projected performance and scalability requirements
• Develop and use test and monitoring tools to effectively quantify performance
  

Required Skills/Experience

• Extensive experience verifying scalability, reliability and high-availability of top-tier enterprise solutions.
• Deep theoretical and practical understanding of algorithms and data structures with excellent debugging skills.
• Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter or equivalent load & performance test tools
• Strong development skills in Java and Perl with cross-platform experience
• Strong technical knowledge of Search Engines, Large Databases, Application Servers and Content Management systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with keen ability to effectively conduct technical discussions directly with developers and customers.
• 2+ years of system performance engineering and test experience
• Bachelors in CS degree or equivalent. Masters in CS degree or equivalent preferred
