Member of Technical Staff – Server Engineering

Responsibilities

• Invent, design, implement and deploy high performance algorithms in the areas of Information Extraction including Search, Categorization and Clustering.  
• Interact with Researchers and Scientists to prototype and validate new algorithmic techniques.

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong foundation in system design, software architecture, web technologies, algorithms and data structures
• Strong background in one or more areas of Information retrieval, Internet search, Transactional platforms, Web servers and Large databases
• Working knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code
• Well versed in Java, C, C++, XML, Perl
• Proficient in Extreme/Agile Programming techniques with ability to multi-task
• Strong knowledge and keen interest in emerging tools and technologies in the industry
• 2+ years of Server side development experience a must
• Bachelors in CS or equivalent. Masters in CS or equivalent preferred.
