Responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain a data center for an On Demand enterprise software environment
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate Open Source products for On Demand deployment

Required Skills/Experience

• Experience solving challenging technical problems in a production setting
• Participated in the entire lifecycle (architecture, planning, deployment, maintenance) of Linux-based enterprise services
• Strong hands-on knowledge in configuring, securing, troubleshooting Linux-based network services (e.g., mail, Web, file-serving) and protocols (e.g., SMTP, IMAP, DNS, FTP, HTTP)
• Proficient in different Open Source products
• Well versed in one or more scripting languages – Perl, PHP, Unix Shell 
• Database administration is a plus
• 3-5 years of system administration experience a must
• Growing and mentoring teams from ground zero and startup experience are a plus
• Excellent communication skills, planning and attention to details are a must
• Computer Science or equivalent degree preferred.
