Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement an intuitive UI to drive our Discovery engine and Community portal
• Convert screenshots and usability requirements to working prototypes
• Coordinate all activities related to Usability, look-and-feel and functionality end to end. 

Required Skills/Experience

• Expertise in cross-platform DHTML, XHTML, CSS 2.0, JavaScript 1.5, XML, XSLT, JSP, AJAX and PHP
• Good sense of aesthetics with ability to rapidly prototype
• Strong command of cross-browser compatibility issues, optimization techniques including download size, rendering speed etc.
• Strong knowledge and keen interest in emerging UI tools and technologies in the industry
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, good initiative, proven attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work well within a diverse, challenging, and rewarding environment is required.
• 2+ years of UI development experience a must
• Bachelors in CS or equivalent. Masters in CS or equivalent preferred.
